1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many languages does the Bosch DCNM-IDESK interpreter desk support?
Up to 100 languages. That is the scale of an interpretation system for a major institution: language and system configuration is done directly from the desk's menu.
What does compliance with the ISO 20109 standard guarantee?
It is the international standard that sets the requirements for simultaneous interpreting equipment — audio quality, ergonomics of the controls, hearing protection. An institutional client will require it in the tender specifications.
How many desks can be installed in the same booth?
Up to ten, with hot-pluggable plug and play installation: a desk can be added without stopping the system during a session. Each desk is designed for a single interpreter.
Does the DCNM-IDESK protect interpreters' hearing?
Yes, hearing protection is built in for predefined earphones and headsets. It is a requirement of the profession: an interpreter wears a headset several hours a day and is exposed to sound peaks from the room.
Can the desk be used by a visually impaired interpreter?
Yes: it offers audible confirmation and raised buttons designed for visually impaired users, in addition to tactile feedback on all controls. A point that is rarely documented, and decisive for recruiting without restriction.
What audio settings does the DCNM-IDESK desk offer?
Three dials: headset volume, headset bass and treble, and loudspeaker volume. These are joined by a speaker/auto-relay button, a microphone button with a red indicator and a mute button.
Is the Bosch DCNM-IDESK interpreter desk new and under warranty?
New, reference DCNM-IDESK, in original Bosch packaging, with its 7-inch high-contrast display. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The datasheet gives full details.
