Frequently asked questions about this product
What is the security level of the Fellowes AutoMax 100M shredder?
It offers a DIN P-4 Mini-Cut: particles of 4 × 10 mm, that is more than 1,000 particles per A4 sheet (up to 1,559 pieces). That is 4 times smaller than a standard cross-cut, keeping confidential documents well protected.
How many sheets does the Fellowes 100M shred at once?
It takes 100 sheets in the automatic feeder (you load the stack and walk away) and 10 sheets in the manual feed slot (based on 70 g/m²).
What is the capacity of the collection bin?
The bin is pull-out, with a capacity of 23 litres, and can hold up to 515 shredded sheets thanks to the small particle size. A bin-full indicator warns you.
Can the shredder destroy staples, paper clips and credit cards?
Yes, through the manual feed slot it also shreds staples, paper clips and credit cards, as well as paper.
How long can it run continuously?
The duty cycle runs up to 15 minutes continuously, which suits regular use by 1 user. It then switches to sleep mode to cool down.
Is the Fellowes AutoMax 100M noisy when running?
It is designed to be quiet thanks to SilentShred technology, which reduces noise. That is an asset in a shared workspace.
How does the shredder deal with paper jams?
It features Auto-Reverse technology: if a jam occurs, it stops and automatically pushes the paper back out, which prevents blockages.
Does the shredder have an energy-saving mode?
Yes, a Sleep Mode activates automatically after a period of non-use, with automatic electronic start and stop.
What are the dimensions and weight of the Fellowes 100M?
It measures 64 × 39 × 37 cm (H × W × D) and weighs about 13.45 kg, with a 220 mm paper entry width.
Is the Fellowes AutoMax 100M shredder new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new and genuine Fellowes product. Fellowes states a warranty of 2 years on the machine and 7 years on the cutting cylinders; your purchase invoice is the proof.
