PoE, PoE+ or PoE++: What Is the Difference?

PoE (802.3af) delivers 15.4 W and suits IP phones and basic cameras. PoE+ (802.3at) goes up to 30 W for PTZ cameras and Wi-Fi 5/6 access points. PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4) reaches 60 W and then 90 W to power displays, high-speed Wi-Fi 6E/7 access points and analytics cameras.

Injector or PoE Switch?

An injector is ideal for powering a single device from a standard switch. For several devices, choose a managed PoE switch, which becomes more cost-effective from 4 ports.

Compatibility and Safety

All our injectors comply with the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards and automatically negotiate power with the connected device, avoiding any risk of overload.
