This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor access point for?
It is an outdoor Wi-Fi access point that extends an existing network outdoors (garden, terrace, courtyard, car park…). It connects to the network by Ethernet cable and broadcasts Wi-Fi; it is not a standalone router.
What data rate and Wi-Fi standard does the EAP110-Outdoor offer?
It broadcasts single-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), up to 300 Mbps (2×2 MIMO technology). It is an entry-level access point designed for coverage and robustness rather than very high data rates.
What is this access point's outdoor range?
Up to 200 metres outdoors according to TP-Link, thanks to its high transmit power and its two high-gain antennas (3 dBi, detachable). Actual range depends on the environment.
Is the EAP110-Outdoor resistant to rain and dust?
Yes, its housing is IP65-certified (dust-tight and protected against water jets) and it has built-in lightning and electrostatic discharge protection, for reliable outdoor operation.
How is the access point powered? Do you need an outlet nearby?
No: it is powered by 24 V passive PoE over the Ethernet cable, and the PoE adapter is included. No power outlet is needed near the access point, which makes installation easier.
How many devices can the EAP110-Outdoor handle simultaneously?
It supports more than 100 concurrent clients and can broadcast up to 8 different networks (SSIDs).
How is this access point managed and configured?
Through the Omada platform (app, software or hardware controller and cloud access): centralised management of many access points, captive portal for guests, VLANs and WPA/WPA2 security. Cloud access requires an Omada controller (OC200/OC300 or software).
How is the EAP110-Outdoor access point installed?
On a pole or wall, using the mounting kits supplied. Compact (216 × 46 × 27 mm), it stays discreet and consumes only about 3.12 W.
