iris.ma is the online shop of SGM2I, a Moroccan company founded in 2007 by two engineers — 19 years in the trade. Since the site opened in 2011, we have been delivering computing and electronics to individuals, businesses and public bodies, everywhere in the Kingdom.

Our story
A company that saw the Moroccan web being born
Our two founders, engineers by training, followed the rise of the internet from Google's very first steps. That head start shaped the way we work: build things that last, rather than follow fashions.
2007
SGM2I is born
Two engineers found the Société Générale Marocaine de l'Internet et de l'Informatique. They had followed the rise of the Moroccan web since Google's earliest days, and from it they drew a speciality: building platforms that last, and making sure they are found.
2011
iris.ma opens its doors
The online shop is born with a simple idea: to let the Moroccan citizen buy computer and electronic equipment in a few clicks, without travelling, in a country where digital technology is only just beginning to find its place.
2018
10,000 customers served
The milestone is passed. iris.ma is no longer a niche site: it is an established player in the online sale of computer equipment in Morocco, with logistics honed across the whole country.
2026
The Casablanca shop
A physical shop opens in Casablanca, alongside the Témara pickup point. See, touch, get advice, collect your order: online retail gains an address.
