How to choose an SFP module

Choosing a transceiver comes down to three criteria: the data rate (1G, 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G), the fibre type (multimode OM3/OM4 for short distances, single-mode for long distances of up to 10 km, 40 km or 80 km) and the connector (LC duplex, MPO-12 for 40G/100G). To migrate from a Gigabit switch to 10 Gigabit, you will need to replace the SFP modules with SFP+ modules.

Manufacturer compatibility

Each manufacturer offers its own certified modules: HPE Aruba (J-codes), Huawei (02313 references), Dell EMC (407-). Our modules are new, genuine and covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so they fit seamlessly into your managed switches.
