1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How far can this Ubiquiti 10G module reach?
Up to 10 km, over single-mode fibre. That is the reach of a link between two sites, far beyond the few hundred metres of a multimode module.
Does this module fit an ordinary SFP port?
Yes: it is stated to be compatible with SFP+ and SFP ports. Still, check your switch’s compatibility list: some manufacturers lock their slots.
Which fibre connector does this module need?
An LC duplex — two strands, one for transmit and one for receive. So it is not a single-fibre bidirectional module.
How much power does this 10G optical module draw?
1 W. That is low for a 10 Gbps module: on a chassis fitted with several of them, the difference compared with 2.5 W modules shows in the total consumption.
What temperature range does this module operate in?
From 0 to 70 °C. This is the standard commercial range: it covers an equipment room, not an outdoor cabinet exposed to frost.
Is this Ubiquiti UFiber 10G module new and under warranty?
Yes, this is a new Ubiquiti product, reference UACC-OM-SM-10G-D, for single-mode fibre. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
