1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this SFP+ module use optical fibre?
No: it is a 10GBASE-T copper module, with an RJ-45 connector. It uses standard copper cables, which cost less than fibre — but its reach is limited as a result.
What distance can this 10G copper module cover?
Up to 30 metres. That is the limit of 10 Gigabit over copper in this form factor: beyond that, you need to switch to an optical module.
Can this module be installed without any configuration?
Yes: installation in an SFP+ slot is immediate, and the module is stated to be compatible with existing network equipment. There is nothing to configure on the switch side.
Why choose copper rather than fibre for 10 Gigabit?
For the cost of the infrastructure: standard copper cables are cheaper than fibre and its connectors. The module also offers low latency.
Is this 10GBASE-T SFP+ module new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Huawei product, reference 02314PHV, an RJ-45 copper transceiver in the SFP+ form factor. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year.
