Frequently asked questions about this product
What security level does the Fellowes LX200 shredder offer?
It offers DIN P-4 security with 4 × 12 mm Mini-Cut cross-cut shredding: an A4 sheet is reduced to more than 1,000 particles (about 1,299 pieces), which effectively protects your confidential documents.
How many sheets does the Fellowes LX200 shred per pass?
It shreds up to 12 sheets per pass and can run continuously for up to 10 minutes, at a speed of about 2 m/min.
Can the Fellowes LX200 shredder destroy staples, paper clips and cards?
Yes. It easily shreds staples, paper clips and credit cards, as well as paper.
What is the bin capacity of the Fellowes LX200?
It has a 22-litre pull-out bin with a bin-full indicator, which makes emptying easier and prevents overflows.
What is the SafeSense safety feature on the LX200 shredder?
SafeSense® technology stops shredding immediately as soon as a hand gets too close to the paper entry: a real advantage if you work near children.
Is the Fellowes LX200 effective against paper jams?
Yes. It features 100% jam-proof technology that prevents and regulates incorrect feeding, plus the interactive Intellibar™ bar that informs you in real time (bin almost full, cycle limit approaching).
Does the LX200 shredder consume power when idle?
It is equipped with a sleep mode that switches on automatically after a period of inactivity, to reduce power consumption.
Is the Fellowes LX200 suitable for heavy use?
It is designed for occasional use in the office or at home (up to 10 minutes of continuous operation). For very large volumes shredded continuously, a heavy-duty model would be more suitable.
What are the dimensions and weight of the Fellowes LX200 shredder?
It measures 52 × 36.2 × 26 cm (H × W × D) and weighs about 9.3 kg, with a discreet black finish.
Is the Fellowes LX200 shredder new and under warranty?
Yes, it is new and genuine. Fellowes states a warranty of 2 years on the machine and 5 years on the cutting cylinders; your iris.ma invoice serves as proof of purchase.
