1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Up to 10 km, over single-mode fibre, at a wavelength of 1,310 nm. That is the reach of a link between two sites, well beyond that of a multimode module.
Which Ethernet standard does this Huawei module follow?
1000BASE-LX, i.e. Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fibre. The LX suffix denotes the long-reach variant, as opposed to SX, which is reserved for multimode.
Do you need to shut down the network to install this module?
No: it is hot-pluggable, with no service interruption. The module is inserted with the equipment powered on, without interrupting the other links.
Can you monitor the status of the optical link?
Yes: real-time DDM digital monitoring reports transmit power, receive power, temperature and voltage. Enough to diagnose a dirty fibre before it cuts out.
Which fibre connector does this Huawei module need?
