An access point on the ceiling,
no socket nearby.
The injector sits next to the switch and sends 60 W and data at 2.5 Gbit/s down the same network cable, all the way to the Wi-Fi access point.

The “2.5G LAN” socket takes the cable coming from the switch or router; the “2.5G PoE” socket goes on to the access point, which receives data and power over that single cable. The injector plugs into the mains, from 100 to 240 V, through a C6 inlet. Two indicators, POWER and ACTIVE, show power-on and activity.
The multi-gigabit link preserved
Input and output run at 2500BASE-T: the injector does not bring the link back down to gigabit. The 60 W travel over all four pairs of the cable.
With passive PoE, the injector sends power without any prior negotiation with the connected device. Reserve it for the Reyee RG-RAP2260(H), RG-RAP6260(H) and RG-RAP6260(H)-D access points.

Does the injector limit the access point's throughput?
No, the data input and the PoE output run at 2.5 Gbps (2500BASE-T): the access point keeps a Multi-Gig link to the switch instead of being brought down to Gigabit by the injector. Both RJ45 sockets are shielded.
How much power does the RG-POE-50-60W-MG provide?
