Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Length and connectors : one photo serves a whole family: length, type and orientation of the connectors are those of the title and the specifications.
  • Devices photographed : the computer, monitor, phone or console visible in the image are not included.
  • Ports on a hub or dock : their number and type vary with the reference, and some functions (charging, video output) also depend on your computer.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

3 months warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What are these cables for?
These are CAT5 KVM cables: they connect the servers in a rack to an HP or HPE KVM console switch, which lets you control several machines with a single keyboard, screen and mouse. The signal travels over an ordinary CAT5 cable rather than a bundle of video, keyboard and mouse cables, which noticeably lightens the cabling at the back of the rack.
Are they designed for HP IP KVM consoles?
Yes. HP designates them as IP CAT5 cables: they go with its KVM console switches that carry the signal over CAT5 cable. Simply check that your console's ports are RJ-45 ports intended for CAT5 links. If your HP or HPE console switch connects its servers through CAT5 links with RJ-45 connectors, this pack of eight 3.7 m cables is the reference the manufacturer intends for that cabling.
How many cables are in the pack, and how long are they?
The pack contains eight identical cables, each 3.7 m long, i.e. twelve feet. Having the same length on every link lets you wire a whole row of servers evenly and route the cables neatly through the rack's guides, without loops of different lengths cluttering the back of the equipment and getting in the way.
What connectors do the cables have?
Each cable has a male RJ-45 connector at both ends, the same format as a network cable. It plugs into an RJ-45 port on the KVM console switch at one end and goes to the server to be controlled at the other. As both ends are identical, there is no plugging direction to observe: the cable can be fitted either way round.
How much does the pack weigh?
The pack of eight cables weighs 0.99 kg in total. This is the weight given by the manufacturer for all eight cables, not for a single cable: each link therefore remains light and flexible to route through cable management arms or along the uprights of a server rack, even when several cables run together to the switch.
