1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do you need to install a driver to use this serial adapter?
On Windows 8 and later, no driver is needed: you plug it in and use it. The adapter is also compatible with macOS and Linux, enough to give a serial port back to a recent computer that has no DB9 connector.
Is the DB9 connector male or female?
It is male on the serial side, so it plugs into a female DB9 socket. Check this on your PLC, cash register or equipment before ordering — it is this detail, not the data rate or the length, that decides whether the adapter connects directly to your setup.
What equipment can it be used with, and at what speed?
It is designed to connect PLCs, printers, cash registers, scanners and industrial equipment to a computer without a serial port. The professional PL2303 chipset provides stable transmission up to 256 kbps, with no data loss.
Can the equipment be placed away from the workstation?
Yes: the cable is 3 metres long. Enough to reach a machine, a cash register or a rack cabinet installed at a distance from the computer without adding a serial extension cable.
What keeps the connection reliable over time?

What is in the box?
