Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Contents photographed : the computer, tablet, camera and objects shown inside are not included.
  • Compatibility : it depends on the dimensions stated in the specifications, not on the device visible in the image.
  • Finish : material, compartments, shoulder strap and colour vary within a single range.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

The slightest doubt about a specification? Contact us before ordering and we will check for you.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does a MacBook Pro 16 fit in the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve?
Yes, it is sized for the 16-inch MacBook Pro as well as for Ultrabooks up to 15.6 inches. Its external dimensions are 390 x 290 x 20 mm: the reference point to compare with the actual dimensions of your machine.
Is the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve made of recycled materials?
Yes: its faux leather and heather polyester exterior is made of recycled RPET materials — polyester made from reprocessed plastic bottles. A rare feature on a sleeve with a faux leather finish.
How does the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve close?
With a zip fitted with metal pulls. The metal pulls are the part that gives way first on a sleeve used every day: seeing them specified in metal rather than plastic is an indicator of service life.
Can you store the charger in the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve?
Yes, a zipped pocket on the front and another on the back hold the power supply and small accessories. Spreading the load across both sides keeps the sleeve flat, whereas a single power adapter on one side distorts it.
What does the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve protect against?
Knocks, scratches, dust and moisture. It is everyday transport protection — in a bag, a car, between two meetings — and not a hard case designed to withstand a fall from standing height.
How much does the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve weigh?
430 grams empty, in heather black. That is the weight of a lined sleeve with a faux leather finish: heavier than a plain polyester case, in exchange for side protection and better durability over time.
Is the Rivacase Lantau 8805 sleeve new and under warranty?
New, part number 8805BLACK, in original Rivacase packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for if you make a claim.
