The DCNM-CB10-I links a DICENTIS conference device to the system switch. Its two RJ45-type connectors carry power pins in addition to the network contacts: the device receives its data and its power through the same 10-metre link.

No power adapter under the table
In a room equipped with DICENTIS, each delegate device draws its power from the audio powering switch, or from the powering switch, through this cable. There is no adapter or power strip to hide under the desks: one cable per device, and that is all. The same assembly is also used to daisy-chain equipment and to double a link when the installation requires redundancy.
Ready to pull, ready to plug in
The cable arrives pre-assembled, its connectors already fitted at both ends: no crimping on site, no connector to choose. Beyond 5 metres, Bosch uses solid conductors, which handle long runs better. Ten metres are enough to reach a switch installed in a control room or at the back of the room with no intermediate joint.
A jacket made for public venues
The TPE jacket is low smoke and halogen-free (LSZH), and the conductor insulation is FR-PE: an expected choice in council chambers, lecture halls and assembly rooms that welcome the public. It is coloured traffic black (RAL 9017) to stay discreet along the stages.

This cable is not an ordinary network cable: a standard Ethernet cord does not power a DICENTIS device. Respect the 35 mm bending radius at trunking corners.

Its connectors are shaped like an RJ45 plug, but they carry extra power pins: this is how the DICENTIS device is powered while it communicates with the system. The DCNM-CB10-I arrives fitted at both ends: you pull it, you plug it in, with no crimping tool or connector to fit on site.
What does this cable connect to in a DICENTIS installation?

Are there other lengths of this DICENTIS cable?
Yes. Bosch makes these assemblies in several lengths, all with the same connectors and the same jacket; the catalogue also offers the 2 m, 5 m and 25 m versions. Choose the shortest one that links the device to its switch without tension: an extra length is hard to tidy under a conference table.
