This mount hangs the projector from the ceiling of the room: no more device sitting among the papers, no more cable stretched between the chairs, no more adjustments to redo because someone pushed the table.

The right height under any ceiling

The tube adjusts between 50 and 80 cm: you lower the projector to the level that lines the lens up with the top of the screen, whether the room has a low ceiling or a higher suspended ceiling. Under the projector, the universal plate spreads its arms to the fixing points of the housing, then the angle is adjusted to centre the image on the screen.

The maximum load accepted by this mount is not published: for a heavy installation projector, choose a mount with a stated load rating.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How far can the EY-CM5080-H2W mount be adjusted?
From 50 to 80 cm. Its tube is telescopic: you set its length within this range to lower the projector to the right height below the ceiling, for example to line the lens up with the top of the projection screen. A clamping point on the tube then locks the chosen length, and the image keeps the same framing from one session to the next.
Will the mount fit my projector?
It is designed as a universal mount: the plate that screws under the projector carries adjustable arms that spread out to the fixing points of the housing, within the limit of their travel. The maximum load it accepts is not published: for a heavy installation projector, choose a mount with a stated load rating instead.
Can the projector be aimed once the mount is installed?
Yes. The projector angle is adjusted on the mount: you tilt it to centre the image on the screen without touching the ceiling fixing. Once the angle is found, the projector's own image settings, such as focus and zoom, then complete the framing.
Which rooms is this ceiling mount intended for?
For a permanent installation: meeting room, classroom, conference room or home cinema. Hung from the ceiling, the projector frees up the table, its cables run out of the participants' reach and it no longer gets knocked out of alignment, which saves redoing the framing at every session.
Do I also need a projection screen?
The mount only holds the projector; the image is then projected onto a light-coloured wall or, better, onto a screen. The same brand offers square screens: the EY-MSL1818 manual pull-down wall screen in 180 × 180 cm, the EY-EL2020 motorised screen in 200 × 200 cm and the EY-TR1818 tripod screen in 180 × 180 cm, for a room with no free wall.
