Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Length and connectors : one photo serves a whole family: length, type and orientation of the connectors are those of the title and the specifications.
  • Devices photographed : the computer, monitor, phone or console visible in the image are not included.
  • Ports on a hub or dock : their number and type vary with the reference, and some functions (charging, video output) also depend on your computer.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Description

Ugreen · Reference 11201

The right cord
for the router next door.

One metre of Category 6 Ethernet cable to connect a computer, console or printer to the router, modem or switch, at Gigabit speed.

Blue Ugreen Cat6 Ethernet cable, coiled, with an RJ-45 connector at each endRound cable with a blue jacket and a male RJ-45 connector at each end.

Gigabit, without loss

As a Category 6 cable, it carries up to 1,000 Mbit/s, the maximum speed of the Ethernet port on most routers, computers and consoles. Its 250 MHz bandwidth gives it headroom against interference, where a Cat5e stops at 100 MHz.

The two transparent RJ-45 connectors of the Ugreen Cat6 cable, with their blue boots

Standard plugs, everywhere

The two male RJ-45 connectors fit every network socket: router, switch, Wi-Fi access point, IP camera, console or TV. The cable is U/UTP, unshielded twisted pairs, the usual format at home and in the office.

One metre is enough when the device sits close to the router or the rack. On a laptop without a network socket, use a USB to Gigabit RJ-45 adapter.

Other lengths and formats are in the cables and connectivity section and on the Ugreen page.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this cable enough for a fibre connection at home?
Yes, for plans of up to 1 Gbit/s. As a Category 6 cable it carries 1,000 Mbit/s: that is the maximum speed of the Ethernet port on most routers, computers and consoles. To go beyond that (2.5 or 10 Gbit/s ports), you need compatible equipment at both ends.
What is the difference with a Cat5e cable?
A wider bandwidth margin. Cat6 is specified up to 250 MHz, against 100 MHz for Cat5e: at the same 1 Gbit/s speed, it copes better with interference. Both plug into the same RJ-45 sockets.
Can it be connected to a PoE switch or an IP camera?
Yes. It is an eight-wire cable with standard RJ-45 plugs: it connects a switch, router or access point just as well as an IP camera. The 1-metre length suits nearby equipment, for example in the same rack or on the same desk.
My laptop has no network socket: can I use it?
Yes, with an adapter. The cable ends in an RJ-45 plug: on a laptop without an Ethernet port, it plugs into a USB-A or USB-C to Gigabit RJ-45 adapter, which keeps the 1,000 Mbit/s speed.
Is it shielded?
No. It is U/UTP, unshielded twisted pairs: the usual format at home and in the office, and more flexible than a shielded cable. Shielding is only useful close to strong sources of electrical interference.
