The most widely shared refill in the catalogue
The T664 series serves about twenty-four EcoTank models — from the L100 and L110 to the L605 and L655, taking in the L382, L1300 and L1455 along the way. It is by far the widest compatibility in the whole range.
That has a practical consequence when ordering. A search by machine name will bring back dozens of similar-looking part numbers, many of which do not concern yours. The reliable marker is the bottle number: T6641 to T6644, and nothing else. Check it on the bottle you already have, or in the manual — that is safer than starting from the printer model.
The good news is the other side of the same coin: if your household or office has two EcoTank machines of different generations, there is a strong chance they share this series. One spare set of bottles then covers both.
Large format changes the arithmetic
The L1300 prints up to A3+. The stated yields — 4,500 pages in black, 7,500 in colour — are measured in A4 to the standard. An A3 page is twice the area of an A4: at equivalent coverage, count on about half as many pages per bottle on your large-format work.
That is not underperformance, it is arithmetic — but it explains the surprise of anyone who buys this machine for drawings or posters and finds the tanks low sooner than expected.
A printer on its own, over USB
It prints, and only that: no copying, no scanning. No screen, no Wi-Fi — the connection is over USB. It holds 100 ordinary sheets and 20 photo sheets, and turns out 30 pages per minute in draft mode, 15 to the ISO standard.
Like any tank machine, it copes badly with inactivity: after several weeks without printing, it runs a cleaning cycle that draws on all four tanks. One colour page a week is enough to avoid it.
