1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which drives can you connect with the Ugreen SATA USB 3.0 adapter?
2.5-inch SATA SSDs and hard drives (SATA I/II/III). Note: it is not suitable for 3.5-inch drives or DVD drives.
What transfer speed does this adapter allow?
Up to 5 Gbps thanks to the USB 3.0 interface and the UASP protocol. It also supports TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. to preserve and monitor the drive.
Do you need an external power supply to use this adapter?
No: a 2.5" drive is powered directly by the USB port, no mains adapter is needed. The cable is approximately 50 cm long.
How can you tell whether the adapter is working?
An LED indicator shows the connection status and drive activity. After 3 minutes of inactivity, the adapter automatically switches to sleep mode to save energy.
Is a new drive recognised directly?
A new drive must be formatted/partitioned before use. Also remember to safely remove the drive before unplugging the cable, to avoid any data loss.
Which operating systems does this adapter work with?
Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux. Note: 32-bit Windows XP does not support drives larger than 2 TB.
Is the Ugreen SATA USB 3.0 adapter new and under warranty?
