1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the HP 250 mouse be used on a PC that has no Bluetooth?
Yes. That is the whole point of dual mode: the mouse comes with its USB-A dongle for a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, and also offers Bluetooth 5.0, and you can switch between the two. A free USB Type-A port is therefore all you need. The rated range is 10 m in open space.
Do I need to buy a battery, and how often does it need changing?
No, an AA battery is included in the box, and it lasts up to 12 months. The mouse is not rechargeable: you can use it for about a year without giving it a thought, then replace it with an ordinary AA battery from any shop. An indicator light shows the battery status.
Is this mouse suitable for a left-handed user?
Yes, with no adjustment needed. The design is ambidextrous: its shape and non-slip side grips let you use it with either the right or the left hand. That matters for a shared workstation — especially as it is a standard-size mouse, 115 mm long and weighing 66.7 g.
Are the clicks noisy in an open-plan office or in meetings?
No: the HP 250 has silent click buttons. It is therefore well suited to shared offices and meeting rooms, where the clicking of an ordinary mouse quickly bothers the people around you. It keeps a classic layout: three buttons and a standard scroll wheel.
Does it work on a Mac or a Chromebook?
Yes. The supported systems are Windows 11, Windows 10, macOS and ChromeOS, plug-and-play: nothing to install, you plug in the USB dongle or pair over Bluetooth and the mouse is ready to use. On the hardware side, all the machine needs is a free USB Type-A port or a Bluetooth connection.
Do I need a mouse pad for it to work properly?
Not necessarily: its 1,600 DPI optical sensor uses multi-surface tracking technology that makes it usable on almost any type of surface. Handy when travelling, when you do not always take a mouse pad with you. The wireless range reaches 10 m in open space.
Is the HP 250 mouse made from recycled materials?
Yes: it contains 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and its packaging is 100% recyclable. A concrete advantage for companies bound by responsible purchasing criteria, with no compromise on grip: 66.7 g for a standard 69.3 × 115 × 38.2 mm format.
Is the mouse new and under warranty?
