1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

What power does the Bosch PLE-1ME120 amplifier deliver?
The reference PLE-1ME120 designates the 120 W version of the Plena range, which comes in 60, 120 and 240 W. It is this power that must be compared with the total power of the speakers to be connected, leaving a margin.
Does the Bosch Plena amplifier accept a 100 V line?
Yes, it has 100 V constant-voltage connections — 70 V on models intended for the United States — and 4-ohm low-impedance connections. The 100 V line is the standard in public address: it lets you chain many speakers on the same pair of wires, over long distances.
How many inputs does the Bosch Plena amplifier offer?
Four microphone/line inputs, each individually switchable between mic level and line level, plus a separate auxiliary input. The input names can be written on the front panel, which avoids routing errors during operation.
Can a condenser microphone be connected to the Bosch Plena amplifier?
Yes: the inputs are balanced and can operate with phantom power, which a condenser microphone requires. Without this power, a condenser microphone stays silent, whatever the gain setting.
How do I cut the music to make an announcement on the Bosch Plena?
Input 1 has priority over all the others, music and microphones alike. It is activated by contact closure, and a two-tone chime precedes the priority announcement: the audience is alerted before the voice speaks.
What is the “call only” output on the Bosch Plena for?
To serve zones where only priority announcements are needed — a car park, a storeroom, a service corridor. This separate 100 V output does not play the background music, only the calls.
How do I monitor the output level of the Bosch Plena amplifier?
With an LED VU meter that monitors the main output. A limiter also acts on the output stage to restrict it if the setting becomes excessive — that is what protects the speakers from prolonged clipping.
Can the volume of each microphone be adjusted on the Bosch Plena?
Yes, four volume controls are dedicated to the microphone inputs. Each source can therefore be set independently, which lets you balance a reception microphone and a security microphone without touching the master level.
Is the Bosch Plena PLE-1ME120 amplifier new and under warranty?
New, reference PLE-1ME120-EU, in original Bosch packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for if you make a claim.
