Frequently asked questions about this product
Why is the Logitech G740 5 mm thick?
Because it is the thickness preferred by professional players: it smooths out desk irregularities and provides a uniform playing surface, which matters especially at LAN events or tournaments, where you only discover the table on site.
Is the G740 suited to a mouse set to low sensitivity?
That is exactly what it is designed for. Its friction has been calibrated for the abrupt starts, stops and changes of direction typical of low-DPI gaming, where your hand covers long distances across the pad.
Do you need a Logitech mouse to get the most out of the G740?
Its texture has been tuned to come close to that of the test environments in which Logitech G sensors are developed: it is with these sensors that the stated precision is at its highest. The pad remains a cloth surface that optical sensors in general can read.
Does the G740 pad crease with use?
Its rubber base is designed precisely to prevent creasing as well as sliding. The pad stays flat and in place despite the wide, sudden movements of low-sensitivity gaming.
What are the dimensions of the Logitech G740?
460 × 400 mm, and 5 mm thick. It is a large format that leaves room for the mouse and part of the keyboard, with extra thickness that you can feel under your wrist.
Is the Logitech G740 mouse pad new and under warranty?
New, reference 943-000806, in original Logitech G packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document requested when making any claim.
