3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers take the HP 80X toner (CF280X)?
It is listed as compatible with the HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401 series (M401n, M401dn, M401dne, M401dw) and with the multifunction printers in the M425 series, including the M425dn. Check the reference on the cartridge currently installed: it should read CF280X or 80X.
What is the difference between the HP 80A and the HP 80X?
The yield, and that alone: 2,700 pages for the 80A compared with 6,900 pages for the high-yield 80X, or two and a half times as many pages per cartridge. For a workstation that prints every day, the X lowers both the cost per page and the number of replacements.
Is there a two-pack of HP 80X cartridges?
Yes, under the reference CF280XD: two high-yield cartridges of 6,900 pages each, or 13,800 pages in total. It is the option chosen by departments that want to keep a spare cartridge on hand at all times.
How are the 6,900 pages quoted for the 80X measured?
According to the ISO/IEC 19752 standard, the one used for monochrome consumables: a set of test pages at a standardised coverage rate. Your actual documents make the result vary, as a report full of figures uses far less powder than a page covered in graphics.
What are the dimensions of the HP 80X cartridge?
340 × 113 × 225 mm. The high-yield version is slightly thicker than the standard 80A (340 × 109 × 205 mm), with no change to installation: both fit in the same slot of the LaserJet Pro 400.
Is the HP 80X suitable for an office that prints a lot of black-and-white documents?
Yes, that is exactly what it is made for: the high-yield cartridges in this range are designed for frequent printing of black-and-white business documents. Greyscale rendering is designed for diagrams and graphics, not just for text.
Is the 80X toner likely to dry out if the printer is rarely used?
No. Laser printing relies on a dry powder: no nozzle to clog, no drying out possible during weeks of inactivity. A spare cartridge kept in its box remains ready for use the day it takes over.
Is this HP 80X toner new and under warranty?
