Frequently asked questions about this product

Which sockets does the Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme support?
On the Intel side, LGA 1851, 1700, 1200 and 115X; on the AMD side, AM5 and AM4. Check your motherboard's socket before ordering: it is the only thing that can make a liquid cooler incompatible.
What does the pump screen on this ASUS liquid cooler display?
A 3.5-inch IPS LCD screen, at 480p and 60 Hz, showing live temperatures, clock speeds, fan speeds and coolant flow rate — or your own animations.
Does this liquid cooler cool anything other than the processor?
Yes: a built-in fan on the pump block blows onto the motherboard's power stages and lowers their temperature by up to 36 degrees. That is what sets this model apart from a conventional AIO.
Do the three fans need three separate cables?
No: the magnetic daisy-chain design means you only need a single cable for all three fans. Cabling behind the radiator is much tidier as a result.
What airflow do the fans on this Ryujin III deliver?
Up to 89.73 CFM, at 2,800 rpm, with 36 dB(A) at most. These are three 120 mm fans thickened to 30 mm: thicker than a standard 25 mm fan, so more static pressure through the radiator.
Are the tubes on this liquid cooler long enough for a large case?
They measure 400 mm. This length determines whether the radiator can be mounted at the top of a large case while the processor sits at the bottom: measure the route before ordering.
What pump does this ASUS liquid cooler use?
An Asetek Emma Gen8 V2 pump, the eighth generation from the benchmark manufacturer of AIO coolers. It runs on fluid dynamic bearings.
Can the lighting on this liquid cooler be customised?
Yes: the ARGB lighting can be customised, as can pump and fan speeds, from the software provided by ASUS.
Is this ASUS Ryujin III 360 liquid cooler new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new ASUS ROG product, a 360 mm AIO system with three ARGB fans. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for a period of 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
