3 months warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Is the drum included in the HP 83A cartridge (CF283A)?
Yes. HP combines the toner and the imaging drum in a single consumable in this series: you have only one part to order and fit, and the drum is renewed with every cartridge change.
Which printers take the HP 83A Black toner?
The HP LaserJet Pro M125a and M125nw, the M127fn and M127fw, the M201n and M201dw, and the M225dn and M225dw multifunction printers. Note the full model number on the machine's label before ordering.
How many pages does an HP 83A toner print?
1,500 pages, average yield established according to the ISO/IEC 19752 standard, the one used for monochrome consumables. Actual yield varies considerably with content: a document dense with bold text falls well below this benchmark.
What is the difference between the HP 83A and the HP 83X?
The X is the high-yield version: the 83X (CF283X) is rated at approximately 2,200 pages compared with 1,500 for this 83A, in a cartridge of identical dimensions. On workstation printers such as the M125 or M201, the difference means one replacement fewer per year.
Is there a two-pack of HP 83 toners?
Yes, two packs exist in the range: the CF283AD, a two-pack of 83A at 1,500 pages per cartridge, and the CF283XD, a two-pack of high-yield 83X at approximately 2,200 pages each. This product page is for the 83A sold individually.
Does replacing the 83A toner take long?
No, it takes just a few seconds. The cartridge is designed specifically for these LaserJet Pro printers and needs no adjustment: open the cover, remove the old one, insert the new one, and printing resumes.
Does the HP 83A toner render bold text and graphics well?
Yes, that is its stated purpose: bold text and sharp black graphics on business documents. These machines are office monochrome printers, designed for administrative documents rather than images.
Can a spare HP 83A toner wait in a cupboard?
Yes. Toner is a powder: it does not dry out and clogs no nozzle, unlike liquid ink. A spare cartridge keeps in its packaging for as long as needed, flat and away from light.
Does this toner prevent reprints and paper waste?
That is the benefit HP highlights: an original cartridge designed for the machine gives consistent results page after page, which avoids reprints, wasted supplies and the delays caused by an unreliable cartridge.
