What does the 1-inch sensor of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 bring?
A light-sensitive area far larger than that of ordinary pocket cameras: sharp, detailed images even in low light. That is what separates usable indoor video from a noisy image as soon as the sun goes down.
Does the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 film in slow motion?
Yes: up to 120 frames per second in 4K. Played back at 24 or 25 frames per second, a sequence shot at 120 fps gives slow motion five times slower, with no loss of resolution.
Is the stabilisation of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 mechanical?
Yes, on 3 axes. A mechanical stabiliser physically moves the camera to compensate for movement — unlike software stabilisation, which crops the image and therefore narrows the field of view.
Does the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 follow a subject automatically?
Yes, with ActiveTrack 6.0: the camera pivots to keep the subject in the centre of the frame. That is what lets you film yourself on the move, with nobody behind the camera.
How do you frame shots with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?
