1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many cameras does the UNV XVR301-16G3 recorder accept?
16 video channels. It centralises recording and viewing of the cameras on a single site, and can be managed both from the device itself and remotely, within a Uniview video surveillance system.
What hard drive can be installed in the XVR301-16G3?
It has one SATA interface, for a disk of 8 TB maximum. The recording retention period then depends on the number of cameras connected, their resolution and the recording mode — continuous or triggered.
Is the stated 8 TB capacity always achievable?
Not under all conditions: the maximum capacity actually supported varies with the ambient temperature of the room. A recorder installed in a hot, poorly ventilated room sees its margin shrink — a factor to take into account when choosing where to install it.
Can the XVR301-16G3 take more than 16 cameras?
Yes, up to 18 — but only in all-IP mode: the recorder opens 2 additional IP channels and goes up to 18 channels if you give up the analogue inputs. Each IP channel then accepts up to 8 megapixels.
How many views can be played back simultaneously on the XVR301-16G3?
Sixteen, in high definition as well as in standard definition. This is what sets it apart from the XVR301-16F, which is limited to 8 channels in high-definition playback: here, all the cameras can be played back at a glance.
Does the XVR301-16G3 record sound from the cameras?
It supports G.711U audio compression, the telephone voice codec. This is what lets a soundtrack be attached to the images when the cameras or an external microphone provide one.
Is the UNV XVR301-16G3 recorder new and under warranty?
New, reference XVR301-16G3, in original Uniview packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
