1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many cameras does the HWT-XVR620 8CH accept in total?
Ten: 8 analogue cameras on the BNC inputs, plus 2 IP cameras over the network. That is two cameras more than the number stated in the model name — a useful point when the installation grows.
What maximum resolution does the HWT-XVR620 8CH accept?
1080P on the TVI, AHD and CVI analogue inputs, as well as the 1080P Lite, 720P and WD1 formats. The IP channels accept 1080P, 960P and 720P. This is a Full HD recorder: a 4 MP or 5 MP camera would be underused on it.
What drive capacity does the HWT-XVR620 8CH accept?
Up to 8 TB in its single drive slot. Combined with H.265 compression, which greatly reduces the bitrate for the same quality, this gives comfortable archive depth for eight cameras.
Can the cameras be viewed remotely?
Yes, via a web browser or the CMS software. Remote access covers live view, playback, backup, PTZ control of motorised cameras and recorder configuration.
What system does this Holowits recorder run on?
An embedded Linux system, with a mouse-operated graphical interface. An embedded system starts up on its own after a power cut and has no login screen to open: recording resumes without intervention.
How do you find a specific clip on the HWT-XVR620?
By time slot, by time, by event or by tag. Recording itself can be manual, scheduled or triggered by motion — the last mode is the one that saves the most disk space on a quiet site.
How do you get a video out of the recorder?
Backup is done via USB or over the network. You export the footage to a flash drive from the device, or retrieve it remotely from the web interface, without having to go on site.
Is the Holowits HWT-XVR620 8CH recorder new and under warranty?
New, reference HWT-XVR620-A01 8CH, in its original packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The datasheet lists all the specifications.
