1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many cameras does this HWT-XVR620-A01 4CH recorder accept?
Six in total: 4 BNC analogue inputs and 2 IP channels over the network. This is the 4-channel model of the range — the 4CH reference is what counts, whatever the product page title says.
Can the analogue inputs be converted into IP inputs?
Yes, the 4 analogue inputs can be switched to 4 IP inputs. This is what lets you move a coaxial installation over to network cameras without replacing the recorder.
Which motorised cameras can be controlled from this recorder?
It handles full PTZ — pan, tilt, zoom — with up to 255 presets and 8 automatic patrols. A motorised camera can thus follow a route of surveillance points on its own.
Is this recorder compatible with cameras from other brands?
It is stated to be ONVIF compatible, the interoperability standard for video surveillance: a third-party IP camera that complies with ONVIF can therefore be recorded. Check for the ONVIF mention on your cameras' datasheet before ordering.
What is the maximum resolution the HWT-XVR620-A01 4CH accepts?
1080P on the TVI, AHD and CVI inputs, as well as the 1080P Lite, 720P and WD1 formats. On the IP side, the channels accept 1080P, 960P and 720P at a bitrate of 10 Mbps per channel.
What disk capacity can be installed?
One disk, up to 8 TB. With H.265 High Profile compression, which greatly reduces the bitrate for the same image quality, this capacity gives a comfortable recording retention period for four to six cameras.
How many channels can be played back at the same time?
Four, in simultaneous playback. You can search by time slot, by hour, by event or by tag, and recording can be manual, scheduled or triggered by motion detection.
Is this Holowits recorder new and under warranty?
New, reference HWT-XVR620-A01 4CH, in its original packaging, running an embedded Linux system. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The datasheet gives full details.
