The Cyborg 15 combines a 10-core Intel Core 7 240H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB of GDDR7, under a 144 Hz Full HD screen. Enough to launch recent games in Full HD, then open editing or 3D software on the same machine.

A graphics card that carries gaming and creation

The RTX 5060 Laptop boosts up to 1455 MHz and has a maximum graphics power of 55 W with Dynamic Boost. MSI rates it at 572 TOPS of AI compute, available to applications that hand these tasks to the graphics card. The Core 7 240H backs it with 6 performance cores, 4 efficient cores and 16 threads, supported by 16 GB of DDR5-5600 spread over two modules, hence in dual channel.

144 frames per second, colours true to the web

The 15.6-inch panel displays 1920 × 1080 pixels at 144 Hz: fast games scroll more sharply than at 60 Hz. It covers 100% of sRGB, the colour space of websites and social networks, which is enough to edit photos or grade a video meant to be published online.

Everything plugs in without an adapter

The Cyborg 15 lines up two USB-A ports and one USB-C port at 10 Gbit/s, the latter able to output video over DisplayPort and to accept Power Delivery 3.0 charging. The HDMI 2.1 output drives a TV or monitor in 4K at 60 Hz, the Gigabit Ethernet port provides a stable wired connection for online gaming, and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.4 takes over without cables.

A translucent chassis that takes the knocks

The chassis is translucent black, and the four-zone RGB backlit keyboard includes a Copilot key. MSI states it complies with the MIL-STD-810H/G military standard. The 720p webcam with noise reduction closes with a physical shutter, and a Kensington slot lets you secure the laptop on a shared desk.

Ships with FreeDOS: no Windows is installed. Plan for a Windows 11 licence and its installation before first use. For more memory, the two 8 GB modules can be replaced; for more storage, MSI advises having the SSD changed by a service centre.

Does the MSI Cyborg 15 B2RWFKG-096XMA come with Windows?
No: it ships with FreeDOS, a minimal system with no graphical interface. An operating system must be installed before use, for example Windows 11 with a licence bought separately. No office suite is supplied either.
Which graphics card powers this Cyborg 15?
An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop with 8 GB of GDDR7, boosting up to 1455 MHz and up to 55 W of graphics power with Dynamic Boost. It is a dedicated card, separate from the processor's graphics, designed for Full HD gaming as well as video editing or 3D.
Can more memory be added?
The machine has two DDR5 slots, both occupied by two 8 GB modules (16 GB in dual channel). To go further, the modules must be replaced: MSI states a maximum of 96 GB of DDR5-5600.
Is there a slot for a second SSD?
No: the Cyborg 15 has only one M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 slot, occupied by the 1 TB SSD. For more capacity, this SSD must be replaced; MSI recommends having this done by a service centre. An external drive over USB-C or USB-A remains the simplest solution.
How good is the screen for gaming?
It is a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS-type panel at 144 Hz, covering 100% of the sRGB colour space. 144 Hz makes fast games smoother than a 60 Hz screen, and the sRGB coverage also suits photo editing for the web.
Which ports does this laptop have?
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0, an HDMI 2.1 output (4K at 60 Hz), a Gigabit Ethernet port and a mic/headphone combo jack. Wireless: Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211) and Bluetooth 5.4.
Which battery and charger are supplied?
The battery is a 4-cell 55.2 Wh unit, and the laptop comes with a 120 W power adapter. MSI does not publish a battery life for this model: when gaming, the graphics card needs mains power.
Is the Cyborg 15 rugged?
Its 2.1 kg translucent black chassis is stated to comply with the MIL-STD-810H/G standard. For protection, it has a webcam shutter, an fTPM 2.0 module and a Kensington slot to secure it.
