215 W for the processor and graphics card
The RTX 5070 Ti Laptop has 12 GB of GDDR7 and reaches up to 140 W with Dynamic Boost, at a 2,220 MHz boost clock. When a task loads both chips at once — a recent game in QHD+, a 3D render, a video export —, MSI OverBoost technology allows up to 215 W for the processor and graphics card combined. The Core Ultra 9 275HX brings together 8 performance cores and 16 efficient cores, reaches 5.4 GHz and integrates a dedicated AI processing unit (NPU). A 280 W power adapter supplies the whole system.
A display designed for gaming and for imaging
16-inch IPS-Level panel, 2560 x 1600 pixels
The 16-inch panel displays 2560 x 1600 pixels in 16:10 format, which gives more usable height than a 16:9 screen for an editing timeline or a long document. Its 240 Hz keeps up with competitive games, and its 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space, as a typical value, serves photo retouching and video grading.
Room to grow without changing machines
The 32 GB supplied fill both DDR5 slots, as two 16 GB modules; the motherboard accepts up to 128 GB of DDR5-6400 by replacing them. For storage, the 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD uses only one of the two M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe Gen5: a second drive for the game library can be added without touching the system.
The whole desk plugs into it
The two Thunderbolt 4 ports carry the DisplayPort signal and accept Power Delivery 3.1 charging; the HDMI 2.1 output drives a monitor up to 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz. Three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports remain for the keyboard, mouse and an external drive. On the network side: 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet by cable, Killer BE1750 Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wirelessly, plus an SD Express card reader to empty a camera's card.

Its 24-zone RGB keyboard has a Copilot key; the infrared Full HD webcam has a physical shutter, and sound comes from two speakers and two woofers of 2 W each, tuned by Dynaudio. The 91.8 Wh battery has four cells.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Can the memory be upgraded?
Yes, by replacing the modules: the 32 GB are installed as two 16 GB modules that fill both DDR5 slots. The machine accepts up to 128 GB of DDR5-6400; to increase capacity, you therefore replace both modules with larger ones.
Can a second SSD be added?
Yes: the motherboard offers two M.2 slots, one NVMe PCIe Gen4, the other PCIe Gen5 compatible. The 1 TB SSD supplied uses only one of them, and the second remains free to add storage.
How much power can the graphics card reach?
Up to 140 W with Dynamic Boost for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop and its 12 GB of GDDR7, at 2,220 MHz boost. Processor and graphics card can draw up to 215 W together thanks to MSI OverBoost, which the 280 W power adapter allows.
Can an external 4K monitor be connected?
Yes: the HDMI 2.1 port displays up to 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports also carry the DisplayPort signal and Power Delivery 3.1 charging, which lets you connect a USB-C monitor or a docking station.
Is the display suitable for photo retouching?
Yes: the QHD+ 2560 x 1600 pixel panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space as a typical value, in a 16:10 format that gives more usable height. Its 240 Hz refresh rate also serves fast games, where smoothness matters as much as colour.
Is the wired network faster than Gigabit?
Yes: the Ethernet port runs at 2.5 Gbit/s, two and a half times standard Gigabit, which speeds up downloading large games. Wirelessly, the Intel Killer BE1750 card handles Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
