3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers does the HP 201A yellow toner (CF402A) fit?
The HP Color LaserJet Pro M252 (M252n, M252dw), the M274n and the M277 multifunction printers (M277n, M277dw). Check the reference of the yellow cartridge already installed: it should read CF402A or 201A.
What is the yield of an HP 201A yellow cartridge?
About 1,400 pages, a composite cyan, yellow and magenta yield declared in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19798 standard. It is based on standard test pages with standardised coverage: a very colourful brochure will empty the cartridge well before that figure.
Does the HP 201X yellow print many more pages than the 201A?
Yes, nearly double: 2,300 pages for the high-capacity 201X (CF402X) against 1,400 pages for the 201A. On a desk that prints colour every day, that means that many fewer replacements.
Does the black cartridge last longer than yellow on an M277?
Yes, a little: 1,500 pages for the CF400A black against 1,400 pages for yellow, cyan and magenta. In the high-capacity version, the gap widens: 2,800 pages for black against 2,300 for the colours.
What are the dimensions of the HP 201A yellow cartridge?
363 × 96 × 111 mm, dimensions shared by all four colours in the range. The high-capacity black version is the only one slightly thicker, at 102 mm. This 36 cm length calls for real storage space.
What is JetIntelligence on HP 201 toners?
It is the electronics built into the cartridge: it authenticates the supply on installation to keep counterfeits out, and feeds level gauges that are more reliable than those of the previous generation. This makes consumption tracking genuinely usable.
Does ColorSphere 3 toner make any difference in use?
Yes, in terms of speed: its low melting point lets the powder fuse quickly enough to keep up with the M252 or M277 without any loss of quality. That is what saves you from having to slow printing down to get a clean result.
Is the 201A yellow toner likely to dry out while it waits in reserve?
No. Laser printing works with a dry powder: nothing evaporates and no nozzle can clog. A spare cartridge kept in its box remains usable months later, which is not the case with an inkjet cartridge.
Can you print all colours with the CF402A?
No, it only supplies yellow. The CF400A black, CF401A cyan and CF403A magenta are three separate references. Check all four levels in one go: that avoids stopping the printer twice within a few days.
Is this HP 201A yellow toner new and under warranty?
