How many cartridges are in the HP 85A (CE285AF) pack?
Two black toner cartridges, rated at 1,600 pages each — about 3,200 pages in total. It is the choice of offices that want to keep a spare cartridge on hand at all times.
Which printers take the HP 85A toner?
The HP LaserJet Pro P1100 series and the Pro M1130 and M1210 multifunction printers. The cartridge currently installed must carry the reference 85A or CE285A.
How is the 1,600-page yield measured?
According to the ISO/IEC 19752 standard, the one for monochrome supplies: a series of standard pages at a standardised coverage rate. Your actual documents will change the result, sometimes by a factor of two depending on their density.
Is the drum separate from the cartridge on the HP 85A?
No, the cartridge has an all-in-one design: there is only one part to change, which makes replacement immediate and saves you ordering a second consumable alongside it.
What kind of user is this range designed for?
