Toner yield does not appear on the printer's purchase invoice, and that is exactly why it is decisive. Automatic duplex deserves a remark: it halves your paper consumption but not your toner consumption, since it still prints the same number of pages. It saves paper, not powder — the opposite of what people often assume.
