HP 730 Photo Black - Original HP Ink Cartridge (P2V67A)

Ref.: P2V67A
HP 730 Photo Black - Original HP Ink Cartridge (P2V67A) — image 1

Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Compatibility : the printers visible in the image are only an example of use: only the exact reference of the consumable guarantees compatibility with your machine.
  • Quantity : an image of a multipack or a multicolour set says nothing about the packaging sold — the number of units and the colour are those of the title and the specifications.
  • Yield : standard, XL and high-yield versions most often share the same photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers accept the HP 730 photo black cartridge (P2V67A)?
The HP DesignJet T1600 and T1600dr plotters (36 inches), the T2600 and T2600dr multifunction printers (36 inches) and the T1700 and T1700dr (44 inches), PostScript versions included. The reference to check is P2V67A.
What difference does a photo black ink make on a plotter?
It is designed to deliver vivid colours and high image quality on plain paper, which makes it the choice for technical documents printed day to day rather than for exhibition prints.
Does HP 730 ink protect the plotter's printheads?
Yes, it is a central argument of this range: HP-designed inks optimise printhead life and help reduce the machine's cost of ownership. On a plotter, the printhead is the most expensive part.
Do the prints dry quickly?
Yes, the prints are stated to be fast-drying. On a plotter that prints drawing after drawing, this avoids waiting before rolling or folding a freshly printed output.
Has this ink been tested with DesignJet printers?
Yes: HP DesignJet printers and inks are stated to be validated by more than 50 tests, the aim being a consistent level of reliability from one cartridge to the next.
What is in the box of the HP 730 cartridge?
The ink cartridge only. The carton measures 202 × 129 × 40 mm and weighs 0.25 kg — these are the dimensions of the packaging, not of the cartridge.
Can the P2V67A print all colours?
No, it only supplies photo black. The plotter's other inks are separate references: check the level of each one before ordering, as a machine of this format will not restart a plot without the missing ink.
Is this HP 730 cartridge new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new, genuine HP cartridge, reference P2V67A. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document requested if a defect is found.
