1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this HP 903XL black cartridge compatible with my printer?
It is listed as compatible with the HP OfficeJet 6950, 6951 and 6962 as well as the OfficeJet Pro 6960, 6961, 6963, 6964, 6965, 6966, 6968, 6970, 6971, 6974, 6976, 6978 and 6979. Check the model marked on the front of your printer: the OfficeJet 69xx family has many very similar variants.
Do I need to buy the colour cartridges again at the same time as the black?
No. The 903 series cartridges are individual: you replace only the one that is empty, here the black, and leave the others in place. Installation and removal both take a single movement, without throwing away colours that are still usable.
Is the stated page yield measured according to a standard?
Yes, it is an approximate average yield established according to the ISO/IEC 24711 standard, in continuous printing, tested on the HP OfficeJet Pro 6860 range. The actual yield varies considerably depending on page content: dense documents lower it compared with everyday correspondence.
Pigment ink: what practical difference does it make to my documents?
It is designed for the office: sharp, long-lasting black text on a wide range of papers, with deeper blacks on ColorLok papers. It is the ink of choice for contracts, reports, memos and leaflets.
How can I check that I am receiving the right cartridge, and a genuine one?
Two markers appear on the packaging: the reference T6M15AE and the barcode 889894728999, which identify the genuine high-capacity 903XL black. It is sold individually and contains 21.5 ml of pigment ink.
What should I do with the cartridge once it is empty?
It can be recycled free of charge through the HP Planet Partners programme, whose availability may vary by country. These cartridges fall under the Design for Environment programme, which aims for energy-efficient and recyclable products.
Is the cartridge new and under warranty?
Yes: a new, original HP cartridge, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. HP warrants its ink cartridges to be free from defects in materials and workmanship throughout the warranty period; details in the datasheet (PDF).
