1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers use the HP 659A yellow toner (W2012A)?
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M776 multifunction printers, Flow M776 included, and the M856 series. The yellow cartridge currently installed must carry the reference W2012A for standard capacity, or W2012X for high capacity.
How many pages does the HP 659A yellow print?
13,000 pages, a composite cyan, yellow and magenta yield declared in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798: the three colours are measured together on a series of standard test pages, which gives an average for mixed use.
What do you gain by switching to the HP 659X yellow?
The yield goes from 13,000 to 29,000 pages per cartridge (W2012X), more than double, for the same footprint. One point worth knowing: high-capacity cartridges are not supplied with the printer; they are bought separately.
Does black last longer than yellow on an M856?
Yes: 16,000 pages for the W2010A black versus 13,000 pages for the three colours. At high capacity, the gap holds: 34,000 pages for black versus 29,000 for the colours.
Is the imaging drum included in the 659A cartridge?
No, it is a two-part design: the toner cartridge on one side, the imaging drum on the other. Each is replaced according to its own wear, so you never discard a part that is still good.
Do you need to remove a pull tab before installing the toner?
No. Automatic seal removal makes installation immediate: the cartridge slides into place without any messy handling, which matters on a shared production machine.
Can toner consumption be tracked across a fleet of M776 printers?
Yes. HP print gauge technology tracks cartridge usage, and HP Web Jetadmin centralises this tracking by reporting regular updates on the status of the fleet's supplies.
How much space does an HP 659A cartridge take up?
483 × 155 × 198 mm: nearly 50 cm long, dimensions shared by all eight references in the range. This is a cartridge for a supplies cabinet, not a desk drawer.
Does HP 659 toner use less energy when printing?
Yes, it is a stated feature: 659 cartridges use a low-melt toner, specially formulated to save energy during printing. The drum design also aims to reduce the materials used over time.
What does ColorSphere 3 toner bring to marketing materials?
Vivid, photo-quality colour, combined with an optimised print mode that widens the range of colours reproduced. That is what sets this generation apart for brochures and sales documents.
Can the W2012A print the other colours?
No, it only supplies yellow. The W2010A black, W2011A cyan and W2013A magenta are three separate references: check all four levels before ordering, as the machine will not restart without the missing colour.
Is this HP 659A yellow toner new and under warranty?
