1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers take the HP 147A toner (W1470A)?
The HP LaserJet Enterprise M611 and M612 ranges and the M635 and M636 multifunction printers, Flow versions included. Note the full model number from the machine's label before ordering.
How many pages does the HP 147A Black toner last?
10,500 pages, an average yield established in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19752 standard, the one for monochrome supplies. Actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
How many cartridge sizes are there in the HP 147 series?
Three. The 147A at 10,500 pages, the high-yield 147X at 25,200 pages, and the extra-high-yield 147Y at 42,000 pages. It is a choice based on monthly volume, as all three fit the same machines.
Are the HP 147X and 147Y cartridges supplied with the printer?
No. HP states it in black and white: the high-yield 147X and 147Y are not supplied with the machine and are bought separately. A new printer therefore arrives with an introductory cartridge, not with the largest in the range.
Does the printer track the toner level of the HP 147A?
Yes. The cartridge features HP print gauge technology, which intelligently tracks the amount of toner powder remaining. You can therefore plan the replacement instead of having it happen in the middle of a production run on a workgroup machine.
What is HP page maximiser technology?
It is the mechanism that manages the use of toner powder throughout the life of the cartridge, to get the maximum number of pages out of it instead of discarding it with toner still inside. On a 10,500-page cartridge, a few per cent already represents hundreds of prints.
Is the cartridge authenticated by the printer?
Yes. HP's exclusive anti-fraud technology is built into the cartridge and serves to protect the fleet against counterfeits: it is what makes it possible to maintain the same quality standard on every machine in a fleet.
Does the HP 147A toner use less energy?
Yes. HP states reduced energy consumption for LaserJet printers and JetIntelligence cartridges sold since 2015, compared with earlier toner generations, measured according to the Energy Star methodology.
How much space does a spare HP 147A cartridge take up?
380 × 180 × 270 mm: a block almost 40 cm long, to be stored flat on a shelf rather than in a drawer. The 147X and 147Y versions are deeper still, up to 366 mm for the 147Y.
Is the HP 147A Black toner new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its HP packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year; HP adds its Premium Protection warranty, covering parts and labour. Details: HP 147 datasheet (PDF).
