3 months warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers take the HP 920XL black cartridge (CD975AE)?
The HP Officejet 6000, 6500 (including Wireless and All-in-One), 6500A and 6500A Plus, the 7000 Wide Format and the 7500A. The black cartridge currently installed should carry the reference CD975AE or 920XL.
What does the “XL” in the HP 920XL reference mean?
It designates the high-capacity version of the 920 range: this cartridge contains 49 ml of ink for approximately 1,200 pages. On a workstation that prints every day, this is what spaces out replacements.
Is the HP 920XL ink water-resistant?
Yes. It is a pigment ink, formulated to resist water and fading: the document remains legible after accidental contact with a liquid, which matters for a contract or an invoice to be archived.
What is the difference between a pigment ink and a dye-based ink?
Pigment ink deposits solid particles on the surface of the paper: the text is sharp and holds up over time without breaking down in humidity. It is the choice for administrative documents, whereas a dye-based ink is aimed above all at vivid photos.
One thousand two hundred pages: how long does that cover?
Two and a half reams of 500 sheets. For an office that turns out around a hundred pages a month, one cartridge covers the year; at five hundred pages a month, count on a quarter instead.
What printing technology does this cartridge use?
HP thermal inkjet: the ink is ejected onto the paper through tiny heated nozzles. It is this technology that means the printer should not be left unused for too long, unlike a laser toner.
Does the HP 920XL cartridge include recycled materials?
Yes. HP states that it has used more than 5.8 billion recycled plastic bottles to manufacture its genuine ink cartridges. A figure to add to the file if your purchasing is subject to an environmental policy.
Does the CD975AE print in colour?
No, only in black. On an Officejet 6500A or 7500A, the colours sit in separate cartridges: check their levels at the same time, to avoid bringing the machine to a halt twice in a row.
Is this HP 920XL cartridge new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new, genuine HP cartridge, barcode 884420649489. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 3 months on this reference. Keep it in case a defect is found.
