Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this SanDisk flash drive work with a phone?
Yes, on two stated conditions: a USB Type-C port and OTG support on the device. Without OTG, the phone will not detect the drive — that is the check to make before buying.
How are the connectors of this flash drive protected?
By a swivel body: you rotate the casing to cover the connector not in use. There is no cap to lose, which matters on a flash drive that lives on a key ring.
Can this flash drive be plugged into a standard computer?
Yes: it has two connectors, a USB-C one for recent phones, tablets and Macs, and a USB-A one for standard computers.
Is the write speed as high as the read speed?
No: SanDisk states that write speeds are lower than read speeds, and that they vary depending on the capacity of the drive. This is true of all USB flash drives, but rarely stated so clearly.
Which systems is this flash drive compatible with?
Windows 7, 8 and 10 as well as macOS 10.9 and later on the computer side. On the mobile side, a USB-C port and OTG compatibility are required.
