This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which battery does the M240 Silent use, and do you need to buy it separately?
An AAA battery, and it comes already installed. Expect up to 18 months of battery life thanks to automatic sleep mode. The mouse is not rechargeable: when the day comes, you replace the battery rather than plugging in a cable.
Is there a USB receiver in the box?
No: the M240 Silent works via Bluetooth only, with no dongle and no USB port taken up, and the box contains the mouse, the battery and the documentation. So check that your machine supports Bluetooth: on a desktop tower without it, you will need to add an adapter.
Is the click really silent, and by how much?
Click noise is reduced by 90% compared with a Logitech M185, as measured by an independent laboratory at 1 metre. The feel under your finger remains that of a normal click: it is the noise that disappears, not the tactile feedback. Ideal in an open-plan office or a shared room.
Is it suitable for left-handed users, and what is its actual size?
Yes: the shell is ambidextrous, designed for the right hand as well as the left. It is compact — 99 × 60 × 39 mm and 73.8 g including the battery — small enough to slip into a bag and come along when you travel.
Can the sensitivity be adjusted, and what is it for?
Sensitivity can be adjusted from 400 to 4000 DPI: a low setting for precision work, a high setting to cross a large screen without lifting the mouse. Everything is set from the Logi Options+ app.
Does it work with a Mac, an iPad or a Chromebook?
Yes: Windows 10/11, macOS 11, iPadOS 14, Android 9 and later versions, as well as ChromeOS and Linux. It is even Works with Chromebook certified. The only condition: the device must support Bluetooth and external mice (HID profile).
How far from the computer can it still be used?
Up to 10 metres. Enough to control a computer connected to a TV or a projector from a sofa or a meeting table. The range actually achieved depends on use, settings and environmental conditions.
Does this mouse have environmental credentials, backed by figures?
Yes, and they are quantified: the plastic parts include post-consumer recycled plastic — 48% in Graphite, 37% in Off-white and Rose — excluding the receiver, the printed circuit board and the packaging. The mouse is also certified carbon neutral, product and packaging included.
Is the mouse new and under warranty?
Yes: new, in its original packaging, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Dimensions, detailed compatibility and the exact box contents are given in the Logitech datasheet (PDF).
