1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Canon CanoScan LiDE 300 scanner need a mains socket to work?
No. It is powered solely by the USB cable from your PC or laptop; no power adapter or wall socket is needed.
Is the USB cable supplied with the CanoScan LiDE 300?
Yes, the USB cable is included in the box, along with the scanner and the manuals. It connects via Hi-Speed USB 2.0 (mini-B port).
What are the 4 EZ buttons on the scanner for?
They are direct shortcuts: PDF, Auto Scan, Copy and Send/e-mail. Each one starts the task with a single press, without going through menus.
What resolution and image quality does the CanoScan LiDE 300 offer?
It scans at up to 2,400 × 4,800 dpi with 48-bit colour depth, which suits documents and photos alike. The resolution can be selected from 25 to 19,200 dpi.
How long does an A4 scan take with the LiDE 300?
Allow about 10 seconds for an A4 colour page at 300 dpi, and about 5 seconds for a 10 × 15 cm photo. There is no warm-up time.
Can you scan books or thick documents?
Yes. The Z-Lid lifts up to accommodate books or magazines up to 21 mm thick, and the automatic corrections reduce the shadows caused by the binding.
Does the CanoScan LiDE 300 work on a Mac?
It is designed primarily for Windows (10, 8.1, 7 SP1), but drivers are available for macOS up to 10.13 (High Sierra). However, the automatic photo/document corrections and the bundled software are Windows-only.
Does this scanner offer automatic duplex scanning or a document feeder?
No: it is a simple flatbed scanner, with no automatic feeder and no duplex scanning. Each document or photo is placed on the glass (A4/Letter maximum). It is the ideal tool for occasional use.
Is the CanoScan LiDE 300 new and under warranty?
Yes, it is new and genuine Canon, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the 1-year warranty document. Light (1.7 kg) and compact, it is easy to put away.
