3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the HP 951XL yellow really print more than a standard 951 cartridge?
Yes, more than twice as much. The CN048AE (951XL) is rated for approximately 1,500 pages with 24 ml of ink, compared with approximately 700 pages for the standard 951 yellow (CN052AE), in the same 114 × 126 × 25 mm format. The benefit of high capacity: buying cartridges less often for the same print volume.
Do all three colours have to be replaced at the same time?
No. HP 951 cartridges are individually replaceable: you only buy again the colour that has run out. This one is the yellow (CN048AE); in high capacity, cyan has the reference CN046AE and magenta CN047AE.
Does the ink hold up if the document is handled or gets damp?
Yes, it is a pigment ink: prints made on an HP OfficeJet Pro resist smears, water and fading over time. These results apply to paper bearing the ColorLok logo: the choice of paper matters as much as the choice of ink.
Which printers does this HP 951XL yellow cartridge fit?
It is stated as compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 251dw, 276dw, 8100, 8600, 8600 Plus, 8610, 8615, 8616, 8620 and 8640: the whole OfficeJet Pro family of this generation, from the 8100 ePrinter to the 276dw multifunction. Check the exact reference shown on your printer before ordering.
The 1,500 pages stated: how are they measured?
It is an approximate average based on the ISO/IEC 24711 standard or HP testing methodology, in continuous printing, on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600A. The actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the pages printed.
What should I do with the cartridge once it is empty?
It can be returned for recycling through the HP Planet Partners programme, whose availability may vary. HP cartridges are designed to conserve resources: a point worth highlighting if your company tracks its environmental impact.
Is this a genuine HP cartridge, and what warranty does it carry?
Yes: a genuine HP CN048AE cartridge, new in its packaging, under a 3-month warranty with the invoice. HP warrants each ink cartridge to be free from defects in materials or workmanship throughout the validity period. Full details on the HP datasheet (PDF).
