3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the 951XL magenta really print much more than a standard 951?
More than twice as much: approximately 1,500 pages for the 951XL magenta (CN047AE) and its 24 ml, compared with approximately 700 pages for the standard 951 magenta (CN051AE). The format is strictly identical, 114 x 126 x 25 mm: only the ink reserve changes.
Do I need to buy cyan and yellow at the same time as magenta?
No, each colour is replaced individually: you only change the cartridge that has run out, without throwing away ink that is still usable. This one contains only magenta; cyan (CN046AE) and yellow (CN048AE) come in the same XL version of approximately 1,500 pages and are ordered separately.
Does the magenta hold up over time on an archived document?
Yes. On OfficeJet Pro printers, pigment ink produces prints that resist smears, water and fading over time, based on results measured with ColorLok paper. The cartridge holds 24 ml of ink for HP thermal inkjet: your colour reports keep their hues once filed away.
Which printers take the HP 951XL magenta cartridge?
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8100, 8600, 8600 Plus, 8610, 8615, 8616, 8620 and 8640, as well as the 251dw and the 276dw multifunction. The manufacturer reference of this cartridge is CN047AE: this is the one to check against the model shown on your machine. The range is aimed at small businesses printing in colour at low cost.
How was the stated yield measured?
On an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600A, in continuous printing, according to the ISO/IEC 24711 standard or HP testing methodology. The actual result depends greatly on your documents: pages saturated with colour use up the cartridge much faster than text enhanced with a few coloured elements.
Can the magenta cartridge be recycled once it is empty?
Yes, through the HP Planet Partners programme, whose availability varies by country. These cartridges are designed to conserve resources, and opting for the high-capacity version rather than the standard 951 reduces the number of cartridges discarded accordingly.
Is the HP 951XL magenta cartridge genuine and under warranty?
Yes: a genuine HP ink cartridge, new and sealed, manufacturer reference CN047AE, supplied with its invoice. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 3 months, with HP also covering any defect in materials or workmanship. Yield details are in the HP datasheet (PDF).
