This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What load does the B-TECH BT8225 mount really take?
35 kg in normal use, but only 20 kg if you want to keep tool-free tilt. Two limits, two uses: above 20 kg, adjusting the tilt means going back to the screws. This is the point to settle before ordering.
How far from the wall does the BT8225 mount hold the screen?
From 40 mm retracted to 469 mm extended. Retracted, it gives the flat look sought in a neat installation; extended, it gives full access to the rear connections without taking the TV down.
Is the B-TECH BT8225 mount suitable for corner mounting?
Yes. Its dual cantilever arm with three pivot points and its 130° rotation are explicitly designed for corner mounting: the screen faces the room while the wall plate is fixed in the corner.
What type of wall can the B-TECH BT8225 be fixed to?
It is specified for concrete, brick and stud walls. On a stud wall, the wall plate must be screwed into the studs of the frame, never into the plasterboard alone — this is what determines strength and safety.
Can you re-centre the screen after hanging it on the BT8225?
Yes, a lateral adjustment lets you slide the screen once it is in place. A spirit level is supplied to align the wall plate when drilling: together, these two features spare you a complete reinstallation if the mount ends up slightly crooked.
Is the BT8225 mount compatible with a screen without a VESA hole pattern?
Yes. It accepts VESA and non-VESA fixings up to 600 x 400 mm, which also covers panels whose rear hole pattern does not exactly follow the standard — a common case on large entry-level screens.
How do you protect the TV against theft on the BT8225 mount?
The arms have padlockable holes designed to prevent unauthorised removal of the screen. Finishing covers also hide the fixings, and cable management is built into the arms.
Is the B-TECH BT8225 TV mount new and under warranty?
New, part number BT8225/B, in black, in original B-Tech packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The manufacturer's documentation is available in the datasheet.
