1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the Grandstream GXV3500 used for?
Three things: encoding an analogue camera to IP, decoding an IP stream to an analogue monitor, and serving as a public address system. It is the bridge between an older installation and a modern video network.
Can you keep analogue cameras with the Grandstream GXV3500?
Yes, that is its main function: analogue-to-IP conversion is bidirectional, in real-time H.264. An existing set of analogue cameras can therefore join an IP network without being replaced, which spreads the investment over time.
Can the Grandstream GXV3500 broadcast announcements?
Yes: it has a 3.5 mm jack microphone input and works as a public address system, controlled from a microphone, an IP phone or an IP video phone. Paging and video surveillance fit in the same unit.
Does the Grandstream GXV3500 need a power socket?
No: it is powered over the network cable, via PoE 802.3af Class 0. This means it can be placed as close as possible to the analogue cameras to be converted, without running a power line to the equipment room.
Does the Grandstream GXV3500 record before the event?
Yes, it has a pre- and post-event recording buffer. This is what lets you see what happened just before detection was triggered, not only afterwards.
How much space does the Grandstream GXV3500 take up?
67 x 34 x 96 mm. A unit the size of a deck of cards, which slips into a technical enclosure or behind a monitor, next to the analogue installation it is converting.
How do you manage the Grandstream GXV3500?
Through GSurf_Pro v2 or a GVR3550 recorder. It also supports SIP/VoIP, for two-way audio and video streaming to a mobile phone or a video phone.
Is the Grandstream GXV3500 encoder new and under warranty?
New, part number GXV3500, in original Grandstream packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
