Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Lens : a body photographed with a lens is very often sold body only: only the title (“body only”, “18-55 kit”…) states what is delivered.
  • Accessories : memory card, spare battery, charger, bag, tripod, lens hood and caps are not included unless stated.
  • Sample images : the sample photographs shown say nothing about the results you will get.
  • Screen and viewfinder : an articulating screen, electronic viewfinder and connectors depend on the reference.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How powerful is this Godox V860III flash for Sony?
A guide number of 60 m at ISO 100. The unit of measurement matters: a guide number only makes sense when paired with a sensitivity, and 60 m at ISO 100 places this flash among the top tier of shoe-mount flashes.
Does this flash's beam adapt to the focal length?
Yes: its automatic zoom covers 20 to 200 mm. The flash narrows its beam at the telephoto end and widens it at wide angle, without wasting power outside the frame.
How many flashes can this flash fire on one charge?
Up to 480 full-power flashes, on a lithium-ion battery. That is what sets this model apart from AA-battery flashes, limited to a few dozen full-power flashes.
Can this flash be triggered remotely?
Yes: it has Godox's X radio system built in. The flash is triggered and adjusted from a compatible transmitter, without cables or a direct line of sight.
How long does this flash take to recharge?
1.5 seconds between two full-power flashes. That is what allows you to shoot in quick succession rather than pausing after each shot.
Is this Godox V860III flash for Sony new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Godox product, barcode 6952344221143, in the version for Sony camera bodies. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
