Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Lens : a body photographed with a lens is very often sold body only: only the title (“body only”, “18-55 kit”…) states what is delivered.
  • Accessories : memory card, spare battery, charger, bag, tripod, lens hood and caps are not included unless stated.
  • Sample images : the sample photographs shown say nothing about the results you will get.
  • Screen and viewfinder : an articulating screen, electronic viewfinder and connectors depend on the reference.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the modelling lamp on this Godox V100 flash for?
To see the light before you shoot: this 2 W lamp stays on continuously and shows where the shadows will fall, which a flash alone does not let you anticipate.
Is the head of this Godox V100 flash adjustable?
Yes: it swivels through 330° and tilts up to 120°. That lets you aim it at the ceiling, a side wall or backwards to soften the light rather than projecting it head-on.
How do you adjust the settings on this Godox V100 flash?
Using an LED touchscreen. Settings are made with your finger, unlike flashes with dials and buttons, which are slower to set up during a session.
How long does this flash take to recharge?
1.7 seconds at full power. That is what allows you to shoot in quick succession, where a slow flash makes you wait between two shots.
How powerful is this Godox V100 flash?
100 W. It is more a compact studio flash than a simple reportage flash: the available power can light an entire scene, not just fill in a face.
Is this Godox V100 flash for Canon new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Godox product, barcode 6952344239827, in the version for Canon camera bodies. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
