1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

What is this SmallRig cage for the Canon EOS C50 used for?
To surround the camera body with a frame drilled with mounting points: microphone, monitor and accessories mount on it instead of competing for the camera's single shoe.
What are the NATO rails on this cage?
A standardised profile onto which a handle or accessory slides and locks in a single movement, without screws. That is what lets you fit and remove a side handle in a few seconds.
Can this cage be mounted directly on a tripod?
Yes: it has a built-in Arca-Type plate, the most widespread tripod head standard. The camera sits on the tripod without an intermediate plate to screw on.
Is there a risk of the HDMI cable being torn out?
No: the cage includes an HDMI cable clamp, which holds the plug against the camera body. That is what prevents the camera's connector from being torn out when the monitor cable is pulled.
Can a quick-release strap be attached to it?
Yes: the cage has a QD mount and an accessory shoe. QD is the ball-lock attachment used by quick-release straps, which clips on and off with one hand.
