How many speakers does the 11-inch iPad Air in Blue have?
Four speakers with spatial audio, arranged to play in landscape mode: you hold the tablet horizontally for a film or a series, and the sound opens out on either side of the screen instead of coming from one side only.
Is the front camera located on the long edge?
Yes. The 12 MP Center Stage sensor is centred on the long edge: with the tablet set horizontally, your gaze falls straight into the lens instead of arriving from the side. Center Stage reframes continuously to keep you centred during the call.
What battery life and charging does the iPad Air M3 offer?
Up to 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi on a single charge, and charging via a 20 W USB-C power adapter. The same adapter works for an iPhone or earbuds, which lightens your bag when travelling.
Is this iPad Air's USB-C port fast?
Yes, USB 3 at 10 Gbps. An external SSD, a card reader or a display can be connected without a bottleneck, and charging also goes through it. A Smart Connector completes the connectivity for the keyboard.
Does the Blue iPad Air M3 support the Apple Pencil Pro?
Yes, as well as the Apple Pencil (USB-C); both are sold separately. It is the most advanced stylus in the range, reserved for the iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad mini.
How good is the M3 chip for creative work?
8-core CPU, 9-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine and 8 GB of unified memory: enough to edit a video, draw with multiple layers and keep several apps open side by side. It belongs to the same chip family as the Mac, in a 6.1 mm chassis.
Does the 11-inch iPad Air's display cover the P3 gamut?
Yes. The Liquid Retina 2360 × 1640 panel at 500 nits covers the P3 wide colour gamut, which extends beyond sRGB on saturated colours, with True Tone to adjust the whites to the lighting in the room.
Does the iPad Air M3 get Apple Intelligence?
Yes, unlike the entry-level iPad. Processing relies on the M3 chip's 16-core Neural Engine and the 8 GB of unified memory, directly on the tablet.
How do you unlock this iPad Air?
With Touch ID, in the top button: a finger resting there for a second unlocks the tablet and approves a purchase, without having to lift it up to your face.
Is the iPad Air keyboard included?
No. The Magic Keyboard for iPad Air is sold separately, as is the Apple Pencil. The Smart Connector on the tablet is designed to take it.
Is this 11-inch iPad Air new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new and sealed, with a 1-year warranty; your invoice serves as proof. The chassis is made of 100% recycled aluminium and is 6.1 mm thick.
